If you are looking for nice and neat braids that last for at least 2 months I highly recommend Alexis African hair braiding. The owner Alexis is very sweet every time I call even last minute she has always accommodated me and whenever I get out the chair she ensures that I love my style before I leave. Everyone there is friendly and it is always clean safe environment. I've been going there for almost 5 years and I am never disappointed

Walked in for knotless braids. I was taken immediately after agreeing to a style, size and price. It was been hard finding a braider in Charlotte that does not over charge, doesn’t play games & does great work. 10/10 would definitely recommend & I will be returning. Thank you ladies

Love my micros and this shop. Post pic with my knotless box braids braids they did before also. This is my 3rd time getting my hair braided at Alexis African Hair Braiding. I had knotless box braids before this and micros before that. Always very satisfied and that's why it's my 3rd time. They have been accomodating with my schedule and honest. Most importanly they listen to my input of what I wanted and give me professional feedback on how or if it can be done. My hair has grown out a bit since 1st time they did my braids so these mrcros had to be braided down further. She explained that before starting and the price. I'm extremely appreciative of this because all to often, at other shops, they wait until the end and tell you a different price but not here. They let you know and I cannot express how much that is key. There are many braid shops in Charlotte, but Alexis is professional and well worth every dime. Much respect to them for thier time and craft. BTW these micros took close to 6hrs and i think its due to length of my hair now. They dont leave your hair out as some braid shops will do that because they don't want to braid all the way to your hair length but not at this shop.. 1st time it took 4.5hrs. But this as i said my hairs longer. These are very small, all even in size, not to tight and I LOVE them. 🥰❤
